How to send money to td ameritrade via wise

Before you read this article, you need to have a account with wise first. If you don’t have yet, please read this article How to open bank account online for free with Wise first.

For account that Wise approve, you will see the information of account detail like screenshot below:

(1) How to Add New Bank Connection to TD Ameritrade

1. Login to ameritrade, go to My Account: Overview and click on +Add funds

2. Chose option to add funds like screenshot below and click Transfer from your bank

3. Click on Create a new bank ACH connection

4. Get account detail from Wise and fill in the TD form like screenshot below and then click Continue

Note : There’s no space for Account number

5. After you verify it if is correct information, Click Submit

6. This step requires you to verify security code with your phone. Click Continue

7. Fill the security code and click Continue

8. The below screenshot tells you to wait 1-2 days

Message : Wait 1-2 days, then check your bank account for two small test deposits. Make note of the deposit amounts, then come back to this page. This helps us verify that you’re an owner of this bank account.

After 1-2 days, TD will send you small amount to Wise account to verify it works. you will see information like screenshot below:

Normally Wise will notify you by mail when you get those amounts.

9. After you get this email from Wise, you need to comeback to TD again to complete number of those small amount into TD form

10. After you get the mail from Wise, when you login to TD you will see the information like below. Click My Bank ACH Connection

11. It’s the last step to verify New Bank connection. Please get information of those amount from Wise account and input it into TD Account like screenshot below:

12. After you follow all steps above, you will see your account like screenshot below:

(2) How to deposit money into TD

1. Login to ameritrade, go to My Account: Overview and click on +Add funds

2. Chose option to add funds like screenshot below and click Transfer from your bank

3. Select bank connection and amount you want to deposit and click on Continue

4. Verify your information and click Submit

5. After you submit, you will get the information like screenshot bellow:

Note : You cannot cancel after you Submit to deposit

6. You will get the money immediately after you deposit.
